Before Treatment:

- Before coming to MEND Health & Wellness, make sure you do not put any lotion or extra moisture on your skin for at least an hour prior to treatment.
- In addition, do not wear any metal jewelry below your neck.
Because 90% of your skin needs to be exposed to the cool air, we will provide you with your outfit for treatment.
This includes:
- Socks
- Non-slip slippers
- Specially designed gloves
- Shorts, if needed
During Your First Cryotherapy Session
Because we want to ensure that you fully understand the process, we take the time to answer all of your questions and educate you on this state-of-the-art technology. This usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes. The treatment itself lasts between two and three minutes, depending on your condition.
During this time, you will feel a rush of invigorating cold air, the temperature of which can reach -240 degrees Fahrenheit. This whole-body treatments works fast, is effective, and offers many more benefits over traditional ice-bath therapies.
How Does Cryotherapy Work?

I love mend! This is my second time here. I originally came with some friends as part of a birthday celebration, liked it so much I just had to come back! Today I did the whole body cryo and the half hour facial! Both are amazing! With being a dancer/contortionist my whole life my body is in constant pain. After doing cryo I feel superhuman! I had a great experience being helped by Chris and Matt for some muscle pain I'd been having for weeks that would not go away. One trip into the full body cyrotherapy machine, followed up by a LED heating-pad type device to the muscle had me feeling better for the first time in weeks.
